Email support@johncotter.io with your device model, operating-system version (Android, iOS or iPadOS), app version and a short description of what happened. Screenshots or a game export are optional; review them first and send only what is needed. Do not send passwords or unrelated personal information. We do not guarantee a particular response time.
The puzzle rules
Place exactly one robot in each row, column and colored sector. Two robots cannot touch, even diagonally. Use Cycle to switch a cell between empty, marked and robot; hold a cell to place a robot. Mark supports notes and dragging. Undo and progressive hints are available when you need them.
Your progress and collection
Games, earned Bolts, companions and preferences are saved on your device. Campaign milestones unlock blueprints; play earns the Bolts used to assemble companions. There are no paid gameplay advantages, subscriptions or ads. The offline edition does not offer purchases. Cosmetic previews do not charge you.
Settings → Export my data saves a copy you can keep or share. Settings → Delete my progress removes local game progress after confirmation. Clearing storage or uninstalling can remove local saves, subject to your operating system's separate backup/restore settings. We do not have a server copy and cannot recover deleted local progress.
Daily grids and connectivity
Casual campaign and generated practice work without an internet connection. Daily and weekly boards use the bundled dated content pack; availability outside that pack is limited. Online rankings, cloud sync, provider sign-in and cross-device transfer are not connected in this edition. A Robodoku custom challenge link requires Robodoku to be installed; no deferred installation service is provided.
Appearance and reminders
Settings includes light/dark appearance, high contrast, sector patterns, reduced motion, sound and haptics. Large boards can be zoomed. Daily reminders are optional local notifications; if a reminder does not appear, check your device's notification settings and any battery or Focus restrictions.
Package and privacy
The current app ID is io.johncotter.robodoku. Earlier app.robodoku.game evaluation copies are separate installations and keep their own local saves. Do not remove a previous installation before preserving any progress you want to keep; no automatic package-to-package migration is provided. Privacy requests can be sent to contact@johncotter.io.
