Who provides Robodoku
Robodoku is provided by John Cotter. This policy covers the offline Android and iOS/iPadOS editions, identified by io.johncotter.robodoku, and these support pages. The Apple developer is John Cotter; the Google Play developer account is JPC3. Privacy contact: contact@johncotter.io. App support: support@johncotter.io.
Game information on your device
The app stores puzzle sessions and moves, completed levels, earned Bolts, robot collection and appearance choices, achievements, daily and weekly progress, and preferences in local app storage. This lets you resume a game and keep your collection. We do not receive a copy of this information from the offline edition. It does not create a service account, send play analytics, upload crash reports automatically, connect to online leaderboards or sync games to our servers.
The app does not collect advertising identifiers and includes no advertising SDK. It does not ask for your name, email, birth date, location, contacts, camera, microphone or media library. Cosmetic previews do not initiate payment; purchases and billing verification are not enabled in this edition. Unused online and payment code is not a live service.
Optional reminders
If you turn on a daily reminder in Settings, the app asks the operating system for notification permission and schedules a local reminder at your selected hour. No push-notification token is requested or sent to us. You can turn reminders off in the app or your device's notification settings. Gameplay works without this permission.
Export, sharing, backups and deletion
Export creates a file containing your local game data. Your device's sharing controls let you choose where it goes. Sharing a puzzle result sends its score and challenge information only to the destination you select. We do not receive these exports or shared results unless you choose to send them to us. Review their contents before sharing.
Use Settings → Delete my progress to remove the app's local game progress, or uninstall the app through your device settings. On Android, clearing app storage also removes local progress; on iOS/iPadOS, use Delete App rather than Offload App to remove the app and its data. Export first if you want a copy. We cannot restore local progress that you remove. Your operating system may back up or restore app data under your device and account settings; those backups are controlled by the device/backup provider separately from our app. Manage or delete them through that provider.
Information you send for support
If you email us, we and our email providers receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and investigate your request, and retain them only as needed for support, related issues or legal obligations. Send only relevant information; do not send passwords or unrelated personal details. Email contact@johncotter.io to request access, correction or deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable legal requirements. We do not sell support information or use it for targeted advertising. We may disclose it when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
App stores, TestFlight, your browser and this website
Google Play and Apple handle downloads, updates, and platform diagnostics or usage information under their own policies and your platform settings. TestFlight also provides beta-testing information and lets testers send feedback, screenshots and crash information to Apple and the developer. If you choose to send TestFlight feedback, include only information relevant to the issue. These platform activities are separate from the offline app sending data to our servers. Links to these pages open your browser. The browser and website hosting infrastructure process ordinary request information, such as IP address, requested page and browser information, to deliver and secure the website. These pages contain no advertising or analytics scripts. Read Google's privacy policy, Apple's privacy policy, and Apple's TestFlight privacy information for their services.
Security, audience and changes
Local app data is protected by your operating system's app storage controls. These pages use HTTPS. No system can guarantee absolute security; protect your device and choose trusted export destinations. Robodoku is intended for ages 13 and up and is not directed to children under 13. We do not collect an age or birth date in the game. A parent or guardian should handle support requests for younger users. Contact us if a child has sent information that should be removed.
Before online features, purchases, advertising or different data practices are introduced, we will update this policy and provide any required notice or choices. The date above identifies this policy's latest revision. Questions may be sent to John Cotter at contact@johncotter.io.
