Doku Solver / Help and support

See your next move.

Choose a game, import one complete puzzle, and get a solution or a one-piece hint. Images stay on your device.

Read a puzzle

Choose Meowdoku, Robodoku, Zoodoku, LinkedIn Queens, DoggyDoku, Sheepdoku, Capybas, CatDoku or Catdoku: Meow Color Puzzle on Home, then use Camera or Screenshot. Star Battle is not offered in the current app. Include the entire board with its outside edges visible. For colored puzzles, use even lighting and avoid glare. For outlined puzzles, keep all region borders readable. During review, use Adjust grid to correct the corners, board size or regions if recognition is uncertain, and pin pieces that are already placed.

Follow the solved picture

Solve shows a valid placement for the selected rules. The one-piece hint shows your next move. Use the solved picture to place pieces in your game. If there are several solutions, the app identifies that the picture is one possible solution. If the grid cannot be solved, check the selected game, regions and existing pieces before trying again.

Use the optional screen helper

On Android, specific supported installed editions of Meowdoku, Robodoku, Zoodoku, LinkedIn Queens, DoggyDoku, Sheepdoku, CatDoku and Catdoku: Meow Color Puzzle offer Solve on this phone. Select the matching game, read Screen helper access, choose Agree and enable, and enable Doku Solver screen helper in your device's accessibility settings. You can choose a screenshot instead without granting access. Open the selected game, show a complete enabled puzzle and tap Read grid. The helper uses fixed puzzle rules to place missing pieces with a bounded sequence of taps or holds. In Robodoku, finish the tutorial and show the whole board at 100% zoom.

Already placed pieces stay put. Stop interrupts the helper. If the screen, orientation or board changes, return to the game and capture it again. Do not reuse an old capture for a different puzzle. Browser editions, Capybas and other unsupported editions use Screenshot and the solved picture. iPhone and iPad use photo or screenshot solving. You can turn access off from the helper's Screen access controls or your device's accessibility settings.

Camera and image problems

If Camera is unavailable, choose Screenshot. You can allow camera access later in your device settings. If colors or outlines are unclear, retake the image straight on, adjust corners and review the detected regions. The app is a companion solver; it does not guarantee that every screenshot, custom rule or game version can be recognized.

Ten free solves and the full-app unlock

Android editions that show a trial counter include ten successfully solved puzzles. A one-piece hint counts as solving that puzzle; further hints, the full solution and retries for the same puzzle do not use another free solve. Failed scans and unsolvable grids do not count. After ten puzzles, a one-time full-app purchase unlocks unlimited solves and hints for every supported game. The US base price is $8.00 USD; Google Play shows the localized price and any applicable taxes before you confirm. This is not a subscription.

Open the trial counter on Home to see your remaining solves or choose Restore purchase. Purchases and restores require Google Play, an internet connection and the Google Play account that owns the purchase. Pending payments do not unlock the full app until Google confirms completion. Canceling checkout leaves your existing trial and purchase state intact. The trial is stored locally; app-data clearing or reinstalling can reset it. Earlier editions and the current iOS edition do not include this Android purchase.
