About these terms
Simply Sudoku is provided by John Cotter. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. If you are not old enough to enter an agreement where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree on your behalf.
Using the game
You may install and play an authorized copy on a device you own or control, subject to applicable store and third-party license terms. You may share gameplay screenshots and recordings. Do not unlawfully redistribute the app, misrepresent it as your own work, or interfere with advertising or other services. Third-party components retain their own licenses and rights.
Your progress
Version 1.1 and later save one current puzzle, pencil marks, settings and completed-game history locally between launches. Starting another puzzle replaces unfinished progress after confirmation. Earlier versions kept puzzles in memory only. There are no accounts, developer-operated saved-game recovery, cloud synchronization or online leaderboards. Device backups are managed separately by your operating system or backup provider. Exchange medals are game achievements with no cash value, prize or claim that a route is globally optimal.
Advertising and external services
The native app may display banner advertising when configured and permitted. No purchase, ad click or agreement to personalized advertising is needed to play. Ad availability is not guaranteed. Advertisements are not endorsements; external destinations have their own terms and policies. The current game has no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Availability and development builds
Availability depends on device, platform, country and store. Coming soon labels do not promise a release date. Development builds may contain bugs or differ from store releases. We may update or discontinue features, subject to applicable support and consumer obligations.
Privacy and support
Our privacy policy explains game data, advertising, support correspondence and deletion. Email support@johncotter.io for support or contact@johncotter.io for privacy requests. We do not guarantee a particular response time.
Store terms
Copies obtained through Google Play are subject to applicable Google Play terms. For copies obtained through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement governs the app license unless a separate custom license is supplied there. These terms supplement that license; the Apple license controls conflicts concerning the App Store license. Apple and Google are not the publisher of this app.
Responsibility and changes
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as is and as available, without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing here excludes a warranty, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer rights. You can stop using the app at any time. We may revise these terms with an updated date and provide additional notice where required. Changes do not remove rights already accrued.
